 Chassis crafted by Specialist Sporting Trials Car Builder Sidney Hirst from SIDCO Manufacturing in Inglewood in 2003 and bodywork and assembly done by first owner. (Build manual incl.)

 1324cc Suzuki Swift engine and 5 speed gearbox. (Workshop manual incl.) The engine is very free reving but also pulls very well at low revs.

 This car is ready to compete now, with a full battery and tank of fuel, you can be into an economical motor sport that is easy on the gear and your body.

  A really good development I have ready for you is the 2 minute 49 second trailer loading and tie down system at the end of a rewarding day of competition.

 Left hand drive affords perfect control of the “fiddle” brakes (for right handers).

 Comes with set of competition pegs to set out your own course and practice championship manoeuvres at home.

SIDCO T2K-16

This Sporting Trials car is one of the most successful cars in New Zealand, built specifically for competing in Sporting Trials by New Zealand renowned builder SIDCO Manufacturing.

Built in 2003, this car was the first to use the modified De Dion type rear suspension which soaks up the bumps, all this, helps to keep the rear and front wheels on the ground for better traction and control.

This car has won the coveted TARATA CUP event ( New Zealand's Premier event) in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

Won New Zealand title in 2006

2nd New Zealand 2007 and 2008

Also won many Taranaki Club titles.

Powered by a very strong EN1 Honda Civic motor and gearbox.

Modifications include: Modified Camshaft, free flow exhaust, lightened flywheel and big 1-3/4" SU carburettor for running on all angles.

Has Hagon front shocks.

Rear diff : the reliable Ford Sierra.

Rear disc brakes.
