The Bouncer

The Bouncer's (passenger) job is to help the driver navigate through the course.

Help the car maintain traction by mover his or her weight around within the confines of the cockpit. By leaning out to the high side in a hill side, helps keep more weight on the top side rear wheel to give traction and also help prevent the car from overturning.

When turning the Bouncer will move their weight to the outside wheel ( the opposite to a side car), This helps to prevent the outside wheel from losing traction, the inside wheel won't spin because the driver will have the "Side Brake" applied to the inside wheel .

When the car is going up a bank or rut the bouncer will move their weight forward as the front wheels go up, and then move their weight back as the rear wheels traverse the bank, this helps the car up because it doesn,t have to move the upper body weight of the bouncer up at the crucial time when the rear wheels are climbing, which is when the car will lose traction the most..
